Fredericks
Frederick’s has been hosting civil weddings since 1995 - we were the first venue in Islington to have a licence to do so. We direct you first to the Islington Registrars who will help you with what you need to do to have a Wedding in Islington, and, at Fredericks. This is especially important if you live outside the borough, but not difficult to sort out.
So if you just want a wedding for you and two friends, then the Clarence Room would suit you very well. It can, actually, hold up to 30 guests.
In the main restaurant there have been wedding ceremonies for 70 guests and a seated lunch or dinner afterward for around 120 guests. Or you could simply have the Garden Room or the Club Room, for a smaller celebration. The ceremony can be held in any of the rooms.
