Weddings at Lilleshall

Originally built in 1831 as a country house and hunting lodge for the Duke of Sutherland, Lilleshall Hall is set in spectacular and secluded surroundings, within the Shropshire Countryside and is easily located for those travelling from Wolverhampton and Stafford.

Pass through the ‘Golden Gates’ which are an exact replica of those adorning Buckingham Palace to enter the estate and impress your guests with our long, sweeping 2 mile driveway – perfect for those ever cherished photographs.

Offering one of the most unique and unusual venues in the West Midlands, Lilleshall Hall stands in extensive, beautiful grounds. 

Our facilities range from traditional country grandeur, with oak-panelled walls and original fireplaces to a spacious open plan function suite, and a dedicated site for Marquees.  We are able to host civil ceremonies, partnerships and wedding receptions, from intimate and smaller weddings of 2 guests to larger weddings and Asian weddings for up to 1,000 guests.

We understand that every wedding is unique and are always happy to tailor your special day to meet your individual requirements and can make recommendations based on your budget.  To give you an idea of what you can expect, we have put together a range of packages for you to choose from as well as the option to create your own occasion.

Civil Ceremonies

Lilleshall is fully licensed as a venue for civil wedding ceremonies and partnerships.  Offering one of the most unique venues in the Shropshire countryside, the former home of the Duke of Sutherland stands in extensive, beautiful grounds and provides the ideal backdrop for those ever cherished photographs.

Marquees

Choose a marquee for the ultimate wedding combination.  Commence your reception through the entrance of the former hunting lodge out onto the spectacular Capability Brown inspired gardens and extenisve grounds where your luxurious bespoke marquee will be waiting along with your guests.

All marquees can be brought in to match your chosen specification, with all the extras such as starlight roofing if required.

From 100 to 1,000 seated guests these marquees can really cater for all, you can even continue your special day right through into the evening with bar and dance floor set up within the marquee to dance the night away!

Location
Lilleshall National Sports & Conferencing Centre is located just north of Telford close to the A41 approximately 3 miles from the town of Newport.  The main entrance gates to the centre are situated on Pave Lane, which can be accessed from the north via the A518 and from the south via the A41.  In both cases please follow the signposts for “National Sports Centre”.
