About Our Wedding Venue

Welcome to Poundon House, a privately owned country-house wedding venue, located on the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire border with a beautiful countryside setting. We offer you exclusive use of our venue for weddings, receptions and Asian ceremonies. As a wedding venue Poundon House is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and has many years experience in hosting private events, weddings and receptions.
 

We pride ourselves on being flexible, creative and delivering the personal touch that makes your wedding day so special. We work with you to make sure the day that you are dreaming of comes true. With full access to the house and grounds the day prior to your wedding you’ll have plenty of time to dress the property, settle in and relax.
 

Poundon House is very experienced at holding Asian ceremonies and can cater for up to 250 guests in our reception marquee. Poundon House wedding venue is located in the quiet countryside setting of the Oxfordshire Buckinghamshire border, only an hour from Central London and Birmingham, with quick access to the M40 and a large choice of local accommodation. Whilst we have tried to describe the house, a visit is really necessary to appreciate the full beauty of the house and gardens.
 

We have been holding weddings at Poundon House for nearly 10 years. It has been great fun and a privilege working with our couples preparing for their big day. We want you to make it your day, which is why we let you work with any suppliers of your own choosing. 
With nine bedrooms available, why not make yourself at home for the weekend? They are spacious, light and very comfortable. A wonderful breakfast is included to set you up for the wedding or to help you recover!
