Prince Philip House

This impressive venue, set in two John Nash houses combines grace and sophistication with facilities for events such as board meetings, lectures, conferences, private dinners, prize and award celebrations, exhibitions, press conferences, film shoots, product launches and drinks or canapé receptions.

The contemporary design of the Prince Philip House interior makes each room versatile enough to be transformed from a board meeting to film premierè party at a moment’s notice.

High ceilings, an abundance of natural daylight and traditional features such as the original staircase are a few of the elements which make up this unique venue. Prince Philip House was designed so that the building would be welcoming and accessible to all visitors. A single wheelchair-accessible entrance with a new sinuous bridge and ramp were designed, rising gradually across the forecourt to make up the one-metre level difference between the pavements and reception. Not only have accessibility requirements (as laid out in the Disability Discrimination Act 1995) been met but additional features have been added including: • Accessibility to all levels of the building via either of the 2 DDA-compliant passenger lifts • Disabled toilet provision situated on the mezzanine (level -1)
