The Cafe in the Park

A small company who thinks big.

With no experience but lashings of passion we started our café business in a small hut (just the hardstanding remains) next to Bury Lake in the Aquadrome in April 2005. It has been a fantastic journey. Some enormous highs (winning awards, working with our volunteers, meeting great customers and team members) and a number of lows (burglaries and staffing problems at the beginning). There are been many tears of laughter and frustration but it’s great to wake up every morning and look forward to coming to work.

Our original principles and values remain un-changed; we strive to produce great tasting food, created using ingredients from farmers and producers with integrity. We were founder members of the Sustainable Restaurant Association and now two star champions for our commitment to the environment, sourcing and our society.

A delightful informal cafe standing in 100 acres of parkland and lakes, but with a whole lot more! 

Family parties, celebrations, reunions , corporate meetings or informal dining are all welcome for both private and corporate customers.
