Moreover, if overnight accommodation is required, the Premier Travel Inn on the north side of Putney Bridge offers inexpensive rooms and parking.
Conference centre LondonWHAT CAN BE INCLUDED
160 delegates can be seated in the River Room or, if the conference is for a much lower number, the room can be divided into two using the partition doors. Alternatively, there is the Library on the ground floor which seats around 30 and opens directly onto the lawn.
Projection and other AV equipment is available as is, of course, wifi and broadband.
Delegates can be greeted with coffee, tea and biscuits or, if preferred, a Continental, or even full English, breakfast. Lunch can comprise simple sandwiches or a more elaborate hot or cold buffet. If there is no rush to get off following an afternoon session, drinks and canapés can be on offer or perhaps consider having a hog roast or barbecue.

Doesn’t matter really – if you’ve the product, we’ve got just the place to launch it. Theatre style, the River Room can comfortably accommodate over 120 leaving room for set design, props or even cat–walk!
The Embankment too, has provided a useful backdrop in the past (guess who the famous atheletes were).

Parking near this location
Unless you’re talking about Boat Race Day (which is, not surprisingly, a parking nightmare), it’s generally not bad at all. There are usually plenty of places along the embankment which (after 6.30pm on Monday to Saturday and all day on Sunday) are free of charge. The residents’ bays are also free after 6.30pm. Further up river, parking becomes unrestricted. Be warned: unless your mode of transport is a boat, if you park on the embankment, make sure that there is not an imminent spring high tide.
